black & white chocolate chip cookies


Ingredients -
  • 2 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup of light corn syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of dark semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions -
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat together sugar, butter, and corn syrup until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • With mixer on low, gradually add flour mixture until combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Drop dough by tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until cookies are no longer shiny.
  • Let cool for two minutes, transfer to wire rack, and let cool.
  • Devour and enjoy!
