DISCLAIMER: I know it's not (throwback) Thursday or (flashback) Friday, but I have been itching to reanimate this blog. I have had some pretty interesting adventures over the last year but for some reason, I did not post about them here. As 2014 winds down, I thought it would be fun to remind myself how wonderful and exciting this year has been. Between now and the end of the month I hope to have a few posts depicting the fun trips and experiences I had this year, and will start fresh in 2015. I will make that my new year's resolution - to be consistent in updating this blog as things happen.
My trip to the UK started with a train ride to northeast Scotland, to the little ocean side town of Stonehaven. The morning was quite dreary and rainy, but the sun came out into the afternoon. We had a lovely lunch of fish and chips (a must in the United Kingdom) followed by a 3K hike up to Dunnottar Castle.
